Village Vets was opened in 2002 by James Bigglestone and Andrew Peffers. James and Andrew met at the Royal Veterinary
College, London where they both qualified as vets in 1995.
James and Andrew have both worked in the area for a number of years and decided that they would like to open a high quality
veterinary practice providing the standard of care and expertise one would expect from a big city hospital, but with the level
of personal service a cottage hospital can offer.
Our aim at Village Vets is to provide a high standard of medical and surgical care for our patients in a pleasant and
friendly environment.
Due to our increased success, Village Vets has expanded and reinvested with a second surgery built to exacting hospital
standards which opened in August 2007.
Village Vets operates as an appointment based practice to reduce waiting times. Appointments an be booked over the telephone
or in person at either surgery. Both James and Andrew feel that continuity of care is important and, where possible, you will
be able to see the same vet at each visit.
